Most Expensive Limited Edition Bats on SidelineSwap

Limited edition baseball and softball bats have become hot commodities, often commanding premium prices in the resale market. These bats combine advanced technology, unique designs, and brand reputation to create sought-after collectibles. Below are some of the most expensive bats currently being resold on SidelineSwap.

Baseball Bats

Easton Hype Fire Arctic - $868

A highly sought-after bat with cutting-edge materials and an exclusive Arctic design. Featuring metallic silver accents and an icy blue-and-white layered colorway, this bat will drop jaws as soon as it hits the bat rack. There's truly no other bat like it in the market, and it looks its best when it's dropping dingers. This bat came out in the summer of last year, and still has a high resale value on Sideline Swap, and takes our top spot in the list.

Icon Electric Unicorn - $700

Electric Unicorn is a standout bat, with it's flashy pink color as well as unicorn badge on the face of the bat. At the time of writing this article, the bat has yet to be released to retail stores, and it is still garnering an insane resale price of $700. This bat is sure to be one of the biggest this summer, especially on the ICON, which has just been rated the #1 USSSA bat for the season. Be on the lookout for this one at Burghardt Sporting Goods!

DeMarini CF Nightfall - $675

A limited edition bat blending DeMarini's craftsmanship with a striking black colorway. This bat was released for the College World Series and only had 100 of them made. This bat is an exclusive commodity and carries a hefty price tag with it!

2022 Louisville Slugger Meta Composite - $650

This Meta Composite bat comes in a sleek Gold and Navy colorway, also dropping during the College World Series. This bat while not as exclusive as some of the others, doesn't have the same color, or legend status as the others, but still rounds out our list as one of the highest priced limited edition resells.

Softball Bats

2017 Monsta Hulk Torch - $1,600

One of the most expensive softball bats on SidelineSwap currently, and a very rare find. This bat was made in limited quantities, and cna only be used with 52/300 ASA balls. The bat was designed to hulk out on these and absolutely crush them. The M2 technology and Floating Inner Barrel give it that extra pop, even 8 years later. If you're a collector, or just looking to burn some cash, this is the bat for you!

2018 Monsta Cancer Sucks - $1,100

This bat released in 2018, boasts the Chris Greinert edition. Just like the Hulk, it isn't supposed to be used on anything other than 52/300 ASA balls, making this a hard bad to use. It comes with the M2 Tech and Floating Inner Barrel technology as well and has a nice color to it as well. Hopefully the money from selling this bat goes to a good cause!

2018 Monsta Cancer Sucks

2025 Easton Ghost OG - $1,000

The latest in the Ghost series, bringing power and precision to the plate. While none of the tech in the bat changed, Easton wanted to bring back the original colors in a new way. The grey to blue gradient gives it a sleek look, while staying subtle enough to surprise the pitcher with it's hard hitting power. While not limited in quantities, it may still be hard to come by. Unless you're shopping at Burghardt Sporting Goods that is...

2024 Easton Ghost Advanced Dusk - $850

Only releasing 3,500 of them, the Easton Ghost Advanced Dusk comes in a light purple color that looks like, well, dusk. This bat is in a sleek matte color and has the production number of the bat on it, making it a huge collectors item, especially if you can get your hands on a low number!

DEMARINI RD28 - $739.99

There isn't much out there about this bat. It looks like it was released around 2017, in honor of Ray Demarini, a pioneer of the softball sport. The bat is very flashy and comes with an intricate design almost like a tattoo. With a skull on the front with a painted 28 on top, this bat has it all. This bat looks to only get more expensive as the years go on, and it becomes harder to find!

2016 Miken Freak USA Border Battle - $599.99

If you're looking to sport your patriotism while also hitting dingers out of the park, the Freak USA Border Battle is for you. Coming in red, white, and blue, and boasting a lot of power, this bat was put together and signed by Denny Crine, Kevin Filby, Kyle Pearson, and Geno Buck. This bat also only had 1,000 made and is laser engraved with the production number, making this another rare find!

Conclusion

Limited edition bats continue to dominate the resale market, with rare designs and advanced features driving up their value. Whether in baseball or softball, these bats offer a blend of performance and collectability. With the one-off bats becoming more and more popular with the larger companies, it might be good to keep some of those bats in the wrap to sell again later!
