November at Burghardt Sporting Goods felt like a highlight reel! Thanksgiving day offered a pause for family time, then the doors reopened to a month packed with gear talk, community faces, and plenty of early holiday excitement. Demo Day Highlights
Big turnout
Demo Day on November 22nd brought steady energy from morning through late afternoon. More than 150 baseball and softball athletes filtered through cages and performance center, comparing barrels, dialing swing weights, and talking certifications. Rick from Wilson and Colin from Easton Rawlings answered every question tossed their way.
A few quick moments that stood out included first swings on new composite models, parents filming side by side comparisons for later review, and younger players lighting up after finding the first bat that truly felt right in the hands.

Holiday Shopping Weekend Recap
Black Friday & Small Business Saturday
Traffic stayed strong and steady both days. Gift hunters compared gloves at the steaming station, checked sizes on batting gloves, and used staff guides to pick out fitting gifts for basketball, pickleball, and off season training. The best part was watching families split the list and tag team the aisles to keep surprises under wraps.
Cookies & Cocoa with Santa
Cookies & Cocoa with Santa filled the store with more than 150 visitors. Kids lined up for photos, traded letters for candy canes, and pointed out favorite items for wish lists. A couple of pups in holiday bandanas tried to sneak into photos and stole the show more than once. It was a warm, joyful morning that set the tone for the rest of the season.
