The 2027 Marucci Rckless Gen 2 Alloy -8 is a one-piece alloy USABat for confident, aggressive hitters. Marucci's pitch for it is "No loading screens. No warm-up lap. Just pure speed from the first pitch." It is approved for USA Baseball leagues including Little League, Cal Ripken, Babe Ruth, PONY, Dixie Youth, Dixie Boys, Dizzy Dean, NABF, and AABC.
The AZR Alloy barrel uses a multi-variable wall design and ring-free construction, so the whole barrel flexes with no dead spots and the sweet spot stays wide and forgiving. The third-generation AV3 vibration dampener in the handle reduces sting, and a custom-molded hand taper shaped for the -8 drop can be removed to suit the hitter's preference. A TFX end cap adds forgiveness, the knob shape is tuned to the drop weight, and an enhanced soft-touch 1.75 mm grip keeps the hands secure.
