The 2027 Marucci Rckless Gen 2 Composite -10 is a two-piece composite USSSA bat built to be fast and bold from the first swing. Marucci's pitch for it is "No loading screens. No warm-up lap. Just pure speed from the first pitch." It is the loudest bat in the Rckless line, with a sharp composite crack on contact.
The fiber-layered FLEX Composite barrel flexes for a fast response and a wider sweet spot, and its ring-free construction lets the whole barrel work. The OLS connection is the stiffest Marucci makes, which cuts vibration at contact. The PFX composite handle is tuned for the -10 drop, and a custom-molded hand taper shaped for that drop can be removed to suit the hitter's preference. A TFX end cap adds forgiveness, the knob shape is tuned to the drop weight, and an enhanced soft-touch 1.75 mm grip keeps the hands secure.
