The 2027 Marucci Rckless Gen 2 Composite -5 is a two-piece composite USSSA bat built for travel and tournament hitters who want pop without losing swing speed. The mid-loaded barrel adds power while the -5 drop keeps the bat controllable, and the fiber-layered composite barrel gives a loud composite crack on contact.
The FLEX Composite barrel flexes to add energy to the ball, and its ring-free construction removes restrictor rings so the whole barrel performs. The OLS connection is the stiffest Marucci makes, which limits vibration at contact. The PFX composite handle is tuned for the -5 drop, and a custom-molded hand taper shaped for that drop can be removed to suit the hitter's preference. A TFX end cap adds forgiveness, the knob shape is optimized for the drop weight, and an enhanced soft-touch 1.75 mm grip keeps the hands secure.
